...as the title states I am now in need of a back pack to carry my 40D and the 400mm f5.6L lens, have been looking on the net and have seen the Tamrac adventure 9 which I like as it does not appear like a camera bag and I can also stick my macbook in the back for going to college, only problem is this backpack wont fit my 400mm lens in while it is on the camera so if I’m out hiking I would need to keep taking the bag on and off fitting the lens, take the shot (if the bird hasn’t decided to scarper) and then take it off again etc, i also like the fact i can attach a tripod to the bag if i purchase the straps.
Anyone have any recommendations? I would like it to be able to hold my 40D with the lens on (also have a 1.4x attached) as well as the tamron 17-50mm lens which I have purchased and the caon 70-200mm which I’m saving up for, holding my macbook would be a bonus but not essential and also same with waterproofing as can always buy a cover. Thanks in advance for your help :)

Looks alot like the adventure 9 that, do you know if it will fit the 400mm prime lens? its roughly 290mm with a TC attached and about 360mm with the camera attached.
