Just wondering if it is safe and/or wise to carry my camera outfit on a tripod attached to a mulepack, as you would a scope? Outfit is a 400D with Sigma 170 - 500 lens. At the moment I have been hand holding the outfit but I am having a problem with focus / camera shake. With this set up (if safe) I could keep the bins round the neck, have the camera reasonably accessible, and carry the scope with the strap attached to the stay on case. Camera and scope have same head so are compatable with the velbron tripod. All thoughts very welcome
