Does anyone know of a good album that has a side where you put the photo - but the other side has space for details (species / date photo taken / location / etc etc). I've searched online but can't find anything.
Connected with that, if people can recommend any good online sites for birding purchases, I'd be very grateful.

You could do all that through the BirdForum Gallery. Uploading pictures to the relevant category automatically puts them into your User Gallery.
The more information you enter about the picture the better, really.

I am not too sure if I know what you think of when you say birding purchases. Optics? Books? Clothing? Feeders and seeds?
